The IT department is in the process of making a number of changes to how account creation works for new staff, and how existing staff accounts are updated and maintained. Most of these changes should be invisible to you as existing staff, but if you notice unexpected changes to your account, please let the IT technician in your building know.

There should be no changes to your username/email address or password, but some staff may see their displayed name in emails change from a nickname to their legal name. For example, everyone I know calls me Josh Perks, but my display name in Microsoft and Google is Joshua Perks. We will be pulling staff names directly from Munis, so with very few exceptions the name on your paycheck will be the name that displays in your emails. Please only contact IT if your username and/or password change, not if your display name has changed form a nickname to your full legal name.
